PII Australia identified the opportunity for digital solutions to bridge the gap between medical practitioners and patients across the country. They aimed to create a telehealth service tailored to the specific needs of the Australian population. Our team was tasked with designing and implementing a proof of concept (POC) that would meet these needs while evolving based on feedback from the medical community. The initial challenge was twofold: to understand the demands of Australians regarding telehealth services and to gather valuable insights from medical professionals and networks. It soon became evident that the service needed to go beyond facilitating consultations-it had to enable seamless payments and easy prescription fulfillment, all without requiring in-person visits.
