A healthcare company approached us with the idea of developing a mobile solution to support successful weight loss outcomes for their customers. The initial launch targeted three European countries, with a focus on delivering a tailored experience through localized content and region-specific features.
Through a series of brainstorming sessions with the Product Owner and key stakeholders, we collaboratively defined the vision and goals for the application. These goals were translated into clear, engaging features aimed at customer acquisition, retention, and long-term engagement. Highlights included a personalized onboarding questionnaire, tailored plans based on user responses, nationality-based content segmentation, structured daily/weekly/monthly tasks, progress tracking, and a fully featured community section with posts, likes, comments, and moderation. Content such as articles and recipes could be managed and targeted by administrators. Over time, the product evolved with new features such as expert voice calls and highly personalized weight loss plans, helping to grow the user base to over 123,000.
